Terms and Conditions for SQLPilot App

Welcome to SQLPilot! Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the SQLPilot application ("Service") operated by SQLPilot Inc. ("us", "we", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Account Registration

2.1. To use SQLPilot, you must register and create an account with a valid email address.

2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for any activities that occur under your account.

3. Use of Service

3.1. SQLPilot provides tools to generate SQL queries using OpenAI's technology.

3.2. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

3.3. Unauthorized use of the Service may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.

4. Subscription and Fees

4.1. Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis.

4.2. You agree to pay all fees and charges specified for your chosen subscription plan, including any applicable taxes.

4.3. We reserve the right to modify the subscription fees, but any such changes will be communicated to you in advance.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SQLPilot Inc. and its licensors.

5.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Service.

6. User Data and Privacy

6.1. We collect and use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to such collection and use.

6.2. SQLPilot does not store the generated SQL queries permanently; however, temporary storage may be used to process your requests.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. SQLPilot Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use of the Service; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our Service.

8. Termination

8.1. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

8.2. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SQLPilot Inc. operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
